Well. Lets see what else is cooking. I recently came across this site while searching for a Used Car for my friend (Shan - Are you reading this!?) . What makes it different that Craigslist or AutoTrader or fleEbay? They have all Used Cars listed with Videos of the car condition. The better the video is the better the probability for more inquiries. You don't have to take time to visit the dealer or private party to actually see the car when it does not look good on the video. Obviously you don't see all the cars listed here but for the good looking ones and that makes life easier, isn't it!! Hey, after all the guys that started this company are students from Berkeley, MIT and Stanford. So you can see some good AJAX implementation on their site - looks cool! I like this one..

But you are on your own on buying the car that looks beautiful and had a hidden bad tranny or engine!! Do your rituals before you buy - take it to a mechanic, get it checked, bargain if they had any problems. Oh, you can search for Used Parts Cost and add approx $75 per hour fixing it.
